Next TUSC All-Britain Steering Committee meeting

Published on

Wednesday 25th February

This will be the first meeting of the steering committee to consider applications from prospective candidates in the May 2026 elections to use one of the descriptions available from TUSC on their local ballot paper.

The application form for candidates to use the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition name and emblem on the ballot paper – or any of the other eight descriptions TUSC has registered with the Electoral Commission including for the ‘Independent Trade Union and Socialist Candidate’ description – is available at https://www.tusc.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2026-Application-form-Cllr.docx (if you are having difficulty opening this link, try copying it into your browser).

Also available is our 2026 guide for prospective candidates and election agents at https://www.tusc.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2026-Guide-for-Candidates-Agents.pdf

Further meetings discussing candidates will be held in March but to be placed on the agenda for February’s meeting application forms must be received by the TUSC National Election Agent – Clive Heemskerk, at [email protected] – by Saturday 21st February.
